“One star differeth from another star in glory”
This was the evening headline from my daily light on the 2nd of February. It has been in my mind since then and the thought came to me that I am like one of the very faint stars in the night sky, one that you can’t quite see by directly looking at it. Only by looking not at it (if that makes any sense) can I see it. The light which I should be displaying in my life is so very faint that it is barely discernible.
Part of me is sometimes happy just to be a star and to have a little light to shine, although today I searched online for the above text and found a short sermon which has made me think differently.
